Effective April 12, 2021, the District of Columbia has launched the STAY DC (Stronger Together Assisting You) program to provide financial assistance to households within the District that are unable to pay rent and utilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under this program, eligible households can receive financial assistance to cover past due rent and housing-related costs incurred after April 1, 2020. This program includes residents of Limited Equity Cooperatives.
